Kapela BraAgas se žánrově řadí pod dnes oblíbený výraz "world music". Repertoár tvoří lidové písně z celé Evropy - Španělsko, Okcitánie, Galícile, písně Sefarditů, Skandinávie a Balkánu.

BraAgas jsou jedinečné především díky propracovaným vokálům, zajímavé instrumentaci a temperamentním rytmům.

Mezi největší úspěchy patří například vítězství 5. ročníku soutěže Colours Talents a žánrová cena "Anděl" za nejlepší world music album roku 2009 pro desku "Tapas".

Thanks to all of you for your nice comments! Of course, we know very well that great band Galandum Galundaina! We had that big pleasure to meet them at the RWMF 2010 in Borneo and spend with them very nice time - they were for us a big inspiration and also a reason, why we decided to play 2 traditional songs from Miranda, both of their repertoire (the other song is Chin Glin Din).

Díky moc, žil jsem půl roku v Bragance (kousek od Mirandy) a Galandum Galundaina jsem slyšel živě. Klobouk dolů, máte perfektní výslovnost i styl hry, hrajete jako praví transmontanos. Jen tak dál.

you need to listen the original song and enjoy too, it's the story of a priest that enjoy to party and to dance...

If I´m not mistaken,it´s sung in the regional language (now the second official in Portugal) called Mirandese and it´s actually Celtic music from northern Portugal!

Speaking only English, I could not understand any of this video. Saved by the truth that music is a Universal Language I like this song very much and the presentation was first class as well, Cheers!
