One of my favorite Boz songs and a great version here that was in the original release of the movie "Fillmore" but later omitted from the official DVD release. I am dying to know why his performance wasn't included, was Boz unhappy with his performance and nix it? Did Bill Graham hold a grudge as suggested below by RayNDeer? Bill Graham was deceased by the time the DVD was released, did his estate hold the grudge, I doubt it? Anybody know for sure why this isn't included in the DVD?

Great song from boss Boz and I like that he doesn't overstretch his bluesy voice .. like so many bluesman do (what do i know? I don't listen to much blues). A song that is positive in vision (lyric) but solemn in music. It's like I'm not sure if I want to make my life shine cause the music is sad lol. "I'll be high flyin' by the time you come round to me; good luck with your path but it wasn't build to last but we might take it dif fer rent ly" Great beginning; swirling organ and then guitar comes in the middle and it's beautiful in a great slightly noisy way so at 2:57 get ready for a psychedelic trip. Terrific horns. Boz filled-more seats at this place than anybody (been years since I made a pun). Great video from Ms Tina Worley. Signed, Troller.

Fillmore West was in San Francisco. This was from the final week of shows at the Fillmore West. Boz performed on June 30, 1971 (along with Cold Blood, The Flamin' Groovies and Stoneground). At the end, Elvin Bishop (who would perform July 1), got on stage for a jam. Word was his performance wasn't in the movie "Fillmore" because Bill Graham was upset that Boz tried to move his later to closing rather than first act
