I'm 29 so I've learned along time ago that anyone who proclaims how "punk" they are is probably in reality a poser, the real punks i grew up around would never be so quick to label themselves....really anything haha, remember that kids, just enjoy whatever you enjoy and dont be a wuss about it and dont aplogize, that shits punk(also the hardest core punk kid i ever knew wore blue polo shirts, not just a denim jacket with blackflag shit pinned on haha)

MELODY? IN A PUNK ROCK SONG? BLASPHEMY! I like how so called "punk rockers" these days shit on everything that has even a hint of pop influence, like it never happened back in the day. Except you know, the Buzzcocks, the Ramones, The Dickies, and pretty much any other punk band worth mentioning.. it's fine though, most people who fling around trite insults like "sell out" are 15 year old kids who live off their parents in suburbia who have no clue about real life and have probably never been to an actual punk show.You can go see Aus Rotten or some lame dime a dozen street punk band and see people rocking Screeching Weasel shirts with no shame, at least around here. The local scene is mostly older cats in the mid 20's and early 30's, who could not give less of a fuck if the Bouncing Souls have a radio friendly pop song or two. Punk is punk. Stop being a dork, how many times did you have to listen to that shitty casualties song before you convinced yourself it was good? I guess you're just too "punk rock" for a band using straight up Ramones guitar riffs. go poof your mohawk and stud your jacket some more ya little twat try hards. I hate that one of the few forms of intelligent music has been co-opted by a bunch of meat heads who don't fucking get it. All they want to do is sit around and try to prove how big their punk rock peen is and how much of a poseur everyone else is. I can't think of anything more boring than sitting around talking shit about bands you think are posers, yet, here you are, inexplicably listening to and commenting on these videos. because you hate them so much, I guess.(you can't see me, but I'm rolling my eyes at how lame you are)

I love how people are talking shit about this amazing, iconic band and calling them sellouts. What makes them sellouts? The fact that they didn't record this in their basement? They're not even close to sellouts. You know what label they're on now? Rise Records. The farthest thing from a major label. Yea I know they got a bunch of shitty "scene-core" bands but they got some great ones too. This being one. Who the fuck cares about how huge they are or whatever. All that matters is if they love the music they make and I'm pretty sure they do. So stop talking shit about this band on their own video and go home if you can't handle that.
