@tazmon122 Perhaps you're misunderstanding. Someone else claimed that the souls weren't "punk" anymore. I contested that it simply doesn't matter. IE-Compare, lets say, lamar vannoy to the song night train. Lamar vannoy is a definitive punk song, while night train doesn't require a label, like most of their later music its simply good music with no need for a defining description. The question still stands, WTF difference does it make?13 years ago

@tfs94gt they are punk. charlie harper is old enough to be my grandad, and he's still playing punk (if you don't believe me, than tell henry rollins that he's not) this is more punk than those bubblegum pop songs about skateboarding, and getting dumped. i loe the souls, and regardless of age, they play much better than modern "punk"13 years ago

When I first heard that song, it was in June, about 2 months before I would leave my home and friends to college, and I felt like this song has been written for me. Since when was it a prerequisite that the souls make music YOU consider "punk"? They're in their late thirties so I'm sure making good music is their priority rather than appeasing people who still want to hear "punk". They've been there and conquered that and successfully moved on.14 years ago
