Tommy's voice is good but his stage presence disturbs me especially since he grew Brad Delp like hair & beard. I think David Victor added a lot of stage presence & excitement to the band and I was about to buy tickets to a Phoenix show in 2014, then I learned David left the band so I didn't go. Boston will always be my favorite band, saw them in 78' 87' 95' & 2003 with Brad up there. Has anyone had reservations about seeing them with DeCarlo but went and had a great time? Anyone know what really happened with David? I met Tom back in 87' and had a short conversation with him. The night before he had played for 32,000 people, I had my Rockman face plate in my pocket and showed him, big smiles and he asked me with a serious look... "How did it sound last night?" ... "Sounded great Tom"... "Thanks, glad you enjoyed the show" Got my picture with him and it sits on my counter, what a great memory meeting my musical idol :)

To answer Joe Michaels, that's Kimberley Dahme on guitar and vocals, a multi-instrumentalist who played bass with Boston before switching to guitar when Tracy Ferrie (formerly of Stryper) joined the band in 2012. She's playing her Retronix R-100 here. Dahme became the first female member of Boston in 2002, sharing vocal duties with Brad Delp and Anthony Cosmo on "Corporate America". Beth Cohen has taken over guitar and vocals on the current tour.

It is u who r misinformed. I have worked closely with sound people very close to the inner circle of Boston and I have worked with brad personally with beatlejuice. Make no mistake. A band is like a bad marriage. Tom and brad hardly ever got along and at the concert for brad in Boston, Sibby wouldn't even go on if sholz was out there,and Barry stayed as far on the other side of the stage without actually being out of sight. They never did riffs together that night and at the end tom went into this shpeel about how close he and brad were. Everybody I knew could barely keep from hurling. Mark my words. Tom has been partly blamed by several people near to brad for brads suicide. You know not what you speak

Wow ,Richard,that is some pretty serious hate going on there toward Sholz. I don't know how anyone could vent that much anger towards someone. I know all the drama and all that was present within the band but your acting like you were there. Even when people are angry towards someone that passes they hurt . Maybe you should pray for Tom ,and the others for foregiveness to each other. Life is too short to bear crosses.

doesn't the sight of Tom Sholz make you just wanna put your fist throough his face!!! one of the biggest, if not THE BIGGEST, A-holes in music history. this is not the Boston I remember and grew up with. while the real face of Boston, Bradley Delp' sleeps with the angels up there with the man upstairs; I hope you burn in hell for all eternity for the misery you've caused this band. it's no wonder sibby wouldn't go on stage with you at the "concert for brad" in Boston that night. and barry couldn't get far enough away from you either. but at least he went on. a true professional if ever I saw one. sibby just couldn't get past the utter hatred he has for you and frankly I cant blame him a bit. if I may quote the Tramps, Burn Baby Burn !!!!! thanks for destroying a legendary band singlehandedly
