I remember hearing Amanda a couple years before it was released. A local rock station was playing it around 1984 and it became the most requested song on that station. I'm not sure if DJ's were just given advanced copies like they often were, but I remember them announcing that they were no longer aloud to play the Boston song. I was disappointed, but I imagine there was still some legal red tape involved. I had to wait another 2 years before it was officially released. Then I grabbed the Third Stage album before they pulled it from the shelves, or so I thought. RIP Brad, you voice was the best...still is!!!

One of the most under appreciated voices in rock history. Brad Delp was simply amazing. So smooth,pure and sincere. Very missed. I've tried so many time to hit some of the notes he's sung. Not an easy task. Wish I had 10% of his talent.

Such a great vocalist taken from us way too soon... Being a neighbor of Brad Delp for 16 years I can tell you he was an amazing man and his voice was an uncontested wonder of the world.. It's been far too long since I've heard him say "howdy neighbor John", the day the ambulance carted him away was one of the worst in my life and goes down as one of the greatest personal tragedies I've ever had to endure... RIP Bradley Delp, and thank you for the 16 years of amazing memories that you shared with me... You were a true inspiration for me and you helped me get through so much #603Strong long live NH Musicians!
