I know I'm going to get flamed for this, but I think this is some of the best craftmenship of songs since Relationship of Command. I love The Mars Volta, but as I grew older I couldn't help but notice Cedric's ambitions had, at some point, become pretentions. I think that's when I lost hope for the Volta. I'm glad Omar got away because he wasn't feeling it anymore, and decided not to continue to whore himself.
