Feelin' metaphysically aligned, if you will, with dawn's time chcch-change. Could dance the transition with morning's angels but will leave Destiny of time to my Dreams...

Any REAL U2 fan would know that the only person in the group who ever did any solo work that resulted in an album or CD was The Edge-he did the soundtrack for the British film Captive. It was mostly instrumental, but featured vocals on one song, a collaboration between The Edge and a then-unknown Sinead O'Connor called Heroine. Oh yeah, and Larry Mullen Jr. played percussion on it.

A little late, but I ran a store at that time, and there was and is no solo album by Bono. It's quite possible there are pirate collections advertising themselves as such, though. At any rate, I'm looking at the US Amazon page, and anyone can pick up the soundtrack for "In The Name of the Father" on CD for less than a dollar. I've purchased used CDs on Amazon many times w/o any trouble.
