I love these goofy, Mad Max mofos for drums! :) I think these are the original Simmons drums? But Roland v-drums can make e-drum sounds if you like...They also pop up on Kenny Aronoff drums on Sunglasses at Night, and Michael Jackson, The Way you Make me feel. And Whitneys I'm Every woman. V-drum sounds have a very short decay, where real drums generally don't. Unless you like dead Evans heads. Or tiny drums. Not for me. If we're doing acoustic, I want them jumping around like Mexican jumpin' beans! Lots of resonance! Woooo! By now, v-drums do drums sounds well, too. They're not light, nor cheap, but they're easy to cram together for being fast. Can't be fast on a huge 20 piece Bonham kit...you'll give yourself a hernia...8 years ago
