Bonfire by Knife Party

When I do a remix, I like to read up a bit about the song and the artist first. Knife Party, an Australian EDM duo, released their second EP in 2012, which featured "Bonfire". That EP, Rage Valley, was their first to enter the Billboard 200, and Bonfire was featured in an episode of the hit show Breaking Bad.

The members of Knife Party have been making music together since 2002, including as members of the drum and bass band Pendulum. Knife Party and Pendulum are both expected to release a new album in 2014. "Bonfire" is the perfect opportunity for playing over and layering some beats on. This rhythmically driven remix features live drumming in an exciting setting.
