I think most of the writing was done by Richie and Jon on Livin on a Prayer.I believe that because of other great songs that they wrote together like IBTFY,Dead or Alive,Never say Goodbye,Hey God,These days,Lie to me etc. Jon alone wrote great songs like Bed of Roses,Always,Dry county,Letting you go etc. Songs like these prove that they are very good song writers

Every one who says they like Alice Cooper's version better......I want you to know Bon Jovi SENT this to Alice Cooper. It was on Trash (1989) but recorded by Bon Jovi in 1987/1988. I think it would've been different if they actually released it on New Jersey, but they didn't so we'll never know.
