My interpretation of this video is of a man who's lived a humble life. He's a sailor, a fisherman, who has looked out past his own life and saw all these amazing things that people have made of themselves. These towers were beautiful to him, he'd draw pictures of them and try and craft what he felt his own tower must resemble. So he rows out to add it to these great pinnacles in the ocean, only to discover that one of the mightiest that he respected was his own. As it falls, so does he but he is comforted in this knowledge as he and his tower pass into the waves.The song of course has a separate meaning, but I'm touched by both.
