@thefish649 God I fucking LOVE his off key obnoxious voice. Its so real. Some of their music is obnoxious and its hilarious and fun, but some songs are just way too obnoxious haha but thats the love of it. If you were to make a buncha demo songs with ur friends, you would hate some of the songs you made.

@blithium I totally know what you mean. Rosenstock's voice takes some getting used to. Eventually you realize that, as you have, it's great lyrically and instrumentally, and his voice is really an essential part of their sound, obnoxious as it may initially seem. Fuck yeah, Neutral Milk Hotel.
