On this day in 1964 {March 22nd} Bobby Vinton performed "My Heart Belongs To Only You" on the CBS-TV program 'The Ed Sullivan Show' Twenty two days earlier on Feb. 29th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #9 & also spent 9 weeks on the Top 100 His two previous releases both peaked at #1 {"Blue Velvet" for 3 weeks and "There! I've Said It Again" for 4 weeks} R.I.P. Mr. Sullivan {1901 - 1974} and Mr. Vinton will celebrate his 78th birthday in one month on Apr. 16th
