Three Rows Over -

"Bobby Curtolla" - Year Song Released 1965

(Dum da dum dum dum oo-wee)

(Dum da dum dum dum oo-wee)

Theres a girl in school that I adore.

She's a cute little girl five feet four.

She's got a personality the talk of the town.

She sits three rows over, and two seats down.

(Dum da dum dum dum oo-oo)

I've got competition it seems galore.

But I'm the guy she"s waiting for.

I go through life with just one bound.

That girl three rows over, and two seats down.

(Two Seats, Two seats down)

I just can't seem to concentrate.

I can"t buckle down.

I never get my school work done.

My heads always turned around

I catch the teachers angry looks.

When my heads not burried in my books.

She knows my thoughts are all around.

That girl three rows over and two seats down.

---(Music Interlude)---

I just can't seem to concentrate.

I can't buckle down.

I never get my school work done.

My heads always turned around

I can't find the type of thing I keep waiting for.

That freindly wave

The one I want I finally found.

She sits three rows over' and two seats down.

(Dum da dum dum dum oo-oo)

(Dum da dum dum dum oo-oo)

(Dum da dum dum dum oo-oo)

Do they write songs like this for teenagers today? If not, someone should play them on the radio for them. These were great songs. Thanks to YT they are not lost.

this song was featured regularly on CFZM AM 740 Toronto when it played '50s and '60s hits. now it's all '70s '80s and '90s like everyone else.

It's because, as a culture, we're so humble that all our big accomplishments (eg. Juno Beach, Normandy) and shining lights (eg. Christopher Plummer) get mistakenly assumed to belong to either the U.S.A. or Britain unless they're so distinctively quirky (eg. William Shatner, Jim Carrey) that they don't seem to fit with the U.S. or Britain.

I can't figure out why people are shocked when a Canadian does something of value. It's kind of patronizing in a sense.

Great to see these songs on here. My grandfather used to be a part of the band when they were not famous as he left them to get an education to become a teacher. Bobby and him continued to be friends until my grandfathers passing in november 2009. Listening to these songs bring back some great memories of time spent with him in thunder bay. Thanks for posting these! I appreciate it!

Superb bubblegum -- a song that won't let you go, with its tight musicianship and Bobby's perfect singing. I'm a Canuck and I love good bubblegum, and this vintage stuff makes me proud.

@TheFatal05 Race would be over his skin tone... this is more nationality. Positive comments are always nice cause well, we don't have as many celebs as the Americans (not complaining, just saying). Any complaints, yeah Canadians can have talent, it's true. Talent comes in all nationalities, races, both genders, ages and religious groups. It's a fact, don't like it, enjoy life wearing a blind fold.
