@robotfeels well. my opinion of super famous is from an indie standpoint. so like, iron and wine, and bon iver are super famous to me. though they are hardly famous compared to lady gaga.

@thepapertransit i think its a 50 % chance he would keep his sound. some bands seem to assimilate, where as others dont. vampire weekend stopped making good music when they got popular, but the fleet foxes got better in my opinion. but i agree with you:)

@CooperHaydenn You have a valid point but it seems like once someone gains that much popularity there's too much pressure on the artist or band to put something out that will sell instead of just being itself. That's all I'm saying. There are plenty of bands that you nor I have ever heard of that make a living just making music. There's just too much good music out there and looking for it is half the fun :D

@thepapertransit because i dont want my favorite bands/artists to remain unpopular. im not greedy. we hate popular music because of how it sounds, not because it is popular (unless your a dirty hipster) , so if our music was popular, we would be able to listen to this on the radio, instead fo whatever shit is on there now. him being famous wouldnt ruin anything, it would only make the pop music of nowadays better.
