This song i think sums up this generation nicely as well. Im stuck with friends who listen to nothing but rap, rap themselves, and people who are just assholes because they believe this kind of music is shit. I say they need to learn some culture beyond rape, drugs, and guns. Thats not to say the drugs part wasnt still kinda prominent in rock but it sure as fuck wasnt the main focus.

Songs these days are just so bad. (Opinion) Wanna listen to modern day rap? What you're gonna hear is rapping about girls, sex, drugs, killing, guns, all that crazy bad stuff. Some songs may not, but a good portion does. More than songs like, thrift shop, and things like that. A LOT more. Or if you like modern pop, you're gonna hear a lot of Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift talking about her boyfriends, and lots of that just as well. Think about it. Now the age is coming to dubstep. It's not even singing. Just a bunch of electro noises banging and rattling. I'm 13. I'm sure that this comment is gonna get people my age, or slightly younger than me that are gonna swear at me and call me names. And these children like to listen to modern music, that's mainly where they get it. At my school, 5th graders are cussing like young truck drivers. It's insane. Comment on my comment about what you think. This is just my personal opinion.
