That's an interesting slideshow. You should look up Hieronymus Bosch and his depictions of hell. I think they're by far the best I've ever seen. They're not like gory or particularly violent,,, it's more disturbing in a subtle way. I don't know enough about art to describe his style but all of his work is brilliant.
