Great track! Bob's always such a bad-ass :) Does anyone know what mouthpiece he's playing on? Was thinking it's a Link but upon how it looks at the back it's not so - anyone know?

Mintzer is the man to hear play those special licks we are use to hearing from michael breaker and the very late bob berg god rest these gently tender jazz souls...

Thanks for posting this. I noticed this has a crazy edit between the head and the solo that cuts out the keyboard solo. (At least from the track on Canyon Cove). Is the keyboard solo available?

...This tune is great. Watch out on the printed chart in New Real 1. There's a footnote at the bottom of page 2. The recorded solo form is different than the printed chart. Also, this recording has an annoying chop out of about 1/2 bar prior to entering the solo section. Otherwise, absolutely fabulous JazzVideoGuy. Keep 'em coming...

Bob Mintzer is not only one of the finest jazz players, writers, band members and band leaders on our planet for over the last 30 years (and counting)... but after meeting him a few times after Yellowjackets shows, I can add that most importantly, he is a beautiful human-being as well. Thank you Bob for all the beautiful music and your beautiful spirit that drives you and your art.

His writing and playing are genius. His books are great if you haven't gotten them.

Es cierto, ojalá pudiera estudiar con él.Y pagarlo... Lástima cuando me clavé con la gira de Yellow jacket. En su lugar tocó Franceschini, que no le llega ni a los talones.

I asked him how he does it, he just adds a little of humming (very mild) to his altissimo register, he loves it this way, as he said, he thinks it adds emphasis to the sound. You should try it, is not very difficult
