In typically Jamaican style,this had been released as a single several times before Leslie Kong took The Wailors into Dynamic Sounds Studio to record this version to the Spring of 1970.Legend has it that Bunny Wailer took deep offence at King's announcement that he would include it on a forthcoming Best Of The Wailers compilation.The band were just at the beginning - how could the best be over?He cursed Kong,who died a few weeks later at the age of 38.
