The video's photo is the cover of the album that include this song. I think that's a very official release.

WOW! Thanks for this upload. I've heard live versions of this but this particular version sounds like a studio track. Could someone please tell me if this was released as an authorized album track??

Bob Dylan covers this old rockabilly song in a cool bluesy way.

Why would it have been a tribute to Perkins? the song was sung by Warren Smith and nothing to do with Perkins.

I first checked out this CD at a local library. Had to purchase a copy for myself. Loved this Dylan track. It is from a tribute to Carl Perkins. Alot of really cool songs. I liked Dylan and Kid Rock very much.

What year was this record produced & is this the only recording of Dylan singing this cover? If I recall correctly this was not in "Thunder On the Mt." even though some of the pix's shown here are from the movie?? Can't get over how Dylan made this song his own, but then why should I be suprised he does this all the tiime! That's why he's Bob Dylan......Our American songwriter/singer, poet, guitar/harp player, musician, "song & dance man," voice of our nation. Thanks for the great post!

Die beste Version, die ich kenne. Herr Zimmermann hätte Rockabillysänger werden sollen, wer hätte das gedacht?
