Dayvan Cowboy is Boards of Canada's first official video.

Using reassembled documentary footage, the video to Dayvan Cowboy translates the power and atmosphere of Boards Of Canada's music into a dreamlike, imaginary journey from space, into the sea and to the shore, in one continuous sequence.

The water seems to be absolutely clean: no bottle, plastic bags, old whatevers, etc...I wonder when that was recorded

I really feel like you can't HATE BoC. If their music isn't your thing, that's completely respectable, but I really don't see how anyone could flat out hate them.

Very mysterious, uplifting and eerie. Just like most of Boards Of Canada's music. It is more than music, it is art!

This sounds nearly identical to a song I posted on a website in 2000....oh well, what right would I have to something I gave away for free? It was basically never heard by anyone, at the least the idea finally came about, and I would hate to say but I was merely remaking an idea that someone else already made, a remix of a remix or so on, that seems the way all music maybe made.

I wish 1:43 - 2:12 would repeat indefinitely. It's fucking beautiful.
