@halifaxshayman27 Yeah, that was the case. And they probably dropped other songs at that time cos the company didnt like them... Maybe well get to hear em someday?? Common Damon!! If theyre anything like Popscene or MLIR id love to hear them. Btw, Starshaped, (the song not the dvd) is other great one and Clover over dover is really great too. And Colin Zeal. The other 3 good ones are the singles and have music vids of their one so im not gonna mention those... ;D

@yasminx16 i thought popscene was a uk single prior to MLIR? and dropped from the uk version coz it had poor reception as a single?? (according to wikipedia :s ) Anyway, i'm a massive fan of turn it up. It's a bit peppy, catchy as all get out. love the melody.

turn it up? Turn it OFF! Modern Life is Rubbish my favourite album in the world- it is a work of art- but I think turn it up is poor. Luckily enough, the rest of the album is so amazing that it doesn't actually matter. I wish popscene was written on time for the album's first release :( This would have made a nice b-side.

I discovered Blur in 2003. So a bit late, but I got to see them perform when they released Think Tank. Damon was in a trailor bus of some sort and he looked out the door...saw the crowd of people then went back inside the bus LOL. Later I saw him walking about though. I got Alex's autograph and Daves. Graham wasn't with Blur then....it's now 2011 and I still listen to this band everyday! I don't need another band =)
