My only complaint (and it is more a feeling of displeasure than a complaint) is the odd and brief in-the-air body flailing (which is the camera's fault for not picking up Damon's movements fast enough). You can tell I like the band considering that is the only displeasure I am remarking about.

What a night. Wasn't a lovely summer, but as you'd expect the sun shone hard on the two days blur did their gigs - beautiful evenings!!

Shame they rushed the groove ... the song really sits in the pocket slower than this ... this speed kind of kills the laid back trippy vibe. Tough when you have adrenalin pumping and a big crowd in front of you ... bands always tend to push their songs live for tempo. Oh well ...

That they got to be there! Actually recently found out my dad was there, must mean I hate him too. Anyway I went to their 2012 Hyde Park gig so I'm happy!

When this was recorded, the record company made the band listen to Happy Mondays and Stone Roses and told them "Madchester is the thing, make your record sound like this." So the band went "Okay, if you say so" but they resented doing so and "There's no other way" was written as a jab at their record company, a "don't make us do anything like that again please" commentary at the request of having to sound like a Madchester band.

This will always be my favourite Blur gig. I'd been travelling for 3 months, this was literally the day after I came back. Back to the best of the British! Beforehand I never thought I'd get the chance to see Blur. The sound, set-up and atmosphere was so good. I'd put this above the 2012 show - you could actually move at this gig! And gems like this tune were played. It was just the best gig.

It would have been lovely to have Dave in the Commons, if only so he could play this rhythm, at this tempo, on Nick Clegg's head.

Thrilled that this band will return time and again, if they might never make another album, least the reunion tour will suffice well.
