First Blur song I ever heard, and I've loved them ever since.

Wasn't there a video going in reverse for this song including what happens when you eat a hamburger? I seem to remember it was on a big screen when we saw them at Brixton in 1992. I also vaguely recall reading in a interview around the time that they had to go back to the studio to write this and Sunday Sunday after Food threatened to sue them because there were no adequate singles on Modern Life, it does sort of make sense, there aren't very many commercially catchy songs on it.

American release version is better to me. And it's funny because this version's sound is closer to American alt than the other demo.Also, it's funny that they gave us Popscene when it was completely 86'd over in England. Way to treat your proud Britpop ambassadors like golden gods, ya limeys! X)
