You too. I'll continue to deny!

OK, that's great that you are so concerned about etiquette on the internet. You can deny all you like - My job here is not to impress or educate... Have a good day, mate!

That's exactly what I'm denying. Watch your language by the way....

Rest in Peace is a deliberate homage to Jimi, but the other songs are not blues licks, although that depends on what you call blues licks. My interpretation of a blues lick is Saraceno, Joe Bonomassa etc. Nuno sounds nothing like them. Cupid's Dead and Funk Out are funky, not bluesy. Nuno has always said he doesn't really feel anything for the blues scene. Each to their own. Regardless, Blues Saraceno is - or was, as he's retired - an awesome player. Nice debating with you, though!

I don't really give a fuck about "Impressing you all with my knowledge" - and I apologize if I critiqued you too harshly without justification - but the fact remains, Nuno has a large part of his playing based on the blues... Obviously, he has classical, funk, and just straight ROCK elements too, but you can't deny he has the blues as an integral part of his individual style...

No, it is more due to the fact that it's been awhile since I have listened to them! But, OK, since you want to put me on the spot, I'll go from memory! For starters, have you heard the opening riff in "Rest In piece?" Sounds kinda bluesy to me - very reminiscent of Hendrix, "Get The Funk Out", "Comfortably Dumb", "Politicalamity", "Cupid's Dead" - Dude, I seriously don't recall the names of all the songs without going, but virtually EVER solo of Nuno's has some blues origin in them...

Song, lick, you take your pick mate.....but the fact that you can't even pick a lick off the top of your head that Nuno played says it all really.

Blues-based SONGS are different to "Blues Licks" - but, I'll still help you out... I just have to dig into my Extreme catalogue...

Invalid? Mmmm, interesting. So, eh, why don't you impress us with your knowledge and list all the blues-based songs that Nuno wrote?

ZEGO24x

You have gotta be kidding! Nuno hasn't played a blues lick in his life? Pffft - your opinion has now become invalid... Go back to school...

Nuno Bettencourt has never played a blues lick in his life. Saraceno's entire career was built on blues licks so I assume you are referring to Saraceno's awesome vibrato, which is simply sensational. I don't think any player does it better than Blues.

"it doest make u a better guitar player". I have a question, has your personality changed after 3 years yet? Just curious how playing a guitar went.
