This is a gem. The footage is lost but the important part is the music. Belushi and Ackroyd transcended their genre.

The Blues Brothers rock! They're on a mission from God. It's that simple.

Glad so many like this song. Sad, we had to cut it from the film. Even sadder the footage has been "lost." The studio made room to store television programs like "The New Leave It to Beaver" and trashed elements from the film that were taking up space in the film vault.. This was before the potential value of downstream use and value of content was recognized.

I am so sad this scene was cut from the final film. I hope to hell the original 3 hour "Roadshow" cut turns up someday.

Battleships were already a failure in 1914-1918.The Bismarck simply lost because of the destruction of the gun control system.First blow of course the torpedo near the rudder. The hit on the Hood was possible because the Hood was also an obsolete battleship. The rest is simply propaganda bullshit.
