*On this day... 1994**Wilson Pickett* begins serving a 1 year jail sentence for a 1992 incident where he hit a pedestrian with his car."Midnight Hour" was Pickett's first hit. He went on to become a Soul legend and was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 1991. In this track, he's backed by the infamous Blues Broters band, which includes Steve Cropper on guitar... and Pickett wrote this with Steve, who wrote, played on, and produced many of the Soul classics for Stax Records.#Soul #OnThisDay #RRHK
