Mikuni is not imitating the origin song, you can't use the same standard to the two singers. And if u go to Mikuni's live, u'll find that she has much more power than the CD version. Because It has been tuned for some marketing reason.

Miho Morikawa has more power to hers, but this version is delicate, so it's ok.

@ASnowPuppy I agree. The 2000 version gives that feel. It doesn't show the meaning of the song, "Keep strong and you will win" is what I feel when listening to the original. Instead I feel "Awww, it's Mikuni-chan."
