WOW, was i ever lucky to find this oldy goldy. it was so worth finding because i remember a friend singing it a while ago, and i remember thinking what a classic. so for anyone else who has never heard it, listen up! music like this being replaced by things like rap, or just loud noise, OMG, treat your ears right and take a listen to something that can quench your thirsty ears.

Yes, Jim was much more appearance conscious on the early days. What a cutie! This was the Jim I fell in love with! Still stops my heart when he sings these torch songs.

I can never figure out why they no longer do this song live. I have many bootlegs of Blue Rodeo and it was never on any of them dating back to the album this was on. And it's never been on any of their official live albums. It's one of their all time best songs. Perhaps the lyrics remind Jim of a sad time that he prefers to forget, but it's such a haunting song. It should be a standard that is in every set list they do, just like 'Try', and '5 days in May'.

I don't think I've ever seen Mr. Cuddy looking so....dolled-up. :-) He looks good (of course), but I prefer his more natural look. Same beautiful smile, no matter what his look is, though.

@1UTUBEUSERNAME I saw them in Mississauga back in 86 - they were playing at this HUGE bar and nobody was really paying that much attention but after a few songs the place was under a spell. Really cool.
