THAT IS NOT BLUE OYSTER CULT , whoever posted this on YT is wrong, this is off a Metallica tribute album called Metallic Assault: A Tribute to Metallica, which has a different group of musicians perform each song, this song is done by Eric Bloom, Al Pitrelli, Tony Franklin, and Aynsley Dunbar.

the guitars are awful compared to Metallica in my opinion. and I play guitar. but bass was pretty good

Eric can't really do thrash, but it is still far better on every level than Metallica's version of Veteran of the Psychic Wars. THAT was abysmal. And I like Metallica.

Sorry, Eric beats James on Vocals. And you can actually understand the lyrics when he sings them. And this is just Eric with some other players, it isn't BOC. Good cover.

I'm not sure if Eric Bloom can really do thrash vocals, because it's not his genre, he sings stuff like "7 Screaming Diz-Busters" and "Take Me Away". You can't accurately compare because they sing almost completely differently.

Wow, people actually think Eric Bloom sings worse than James Hetfeld? Go figure...And this is not really Blue Öyster Cult, just Eric on vocals with Al Pitrelli on guitar, Ansley Dunbar on drums and Tony Franklin on bass.

It is not bad. It is BOC. It cannot be bad.

They should have used a cowbell for the intro

does anyone know how to play the bass intro(originally)but on guitar like in this cover?

I actually like Eric's vocals on here. Not as powerful as Hetfield but more nuanced and expressive. The chorus is chilling and the music kicks ass.
