From 1937's "Waikiki Wedding," with words by Leo Robin and music by Ralph Rainger, this is the third installment - and exact midpoint - of the brief but fruitful collaboration twixt Robin, Rainger and Ross. Not the monster hit that the following year's duet with Crosby's future partner, Bob Hope (i.e. "Thanks for the Memory"), would prove to be, the song nonetheless clearly demonstrates the phenomenon noted some sixty-five years later by writer Bernard K.
