It was June 1967 the Summer of Love. My friends had just come back from a tour in the UK and brought us home two albums- Are You Experienced & Fresh Cream. Out f*ckin' outrageous! My friends were Blue Cheer. RIP Dickie, my friend. I even introduced my dad to them. It was cool.

@canousi Yes! Mitch Mitchell mentions in his autobio that Blue Cheer was the worst band he had ever heard...of course i don´t agree.

@lastfairdeal2 You must be the luckiest person in the world!!! I already knew this cover, but in my CD it sounds a little bit different from this. I love both of them.

WOW. Never heard this one! I saw them live when I was 12-years-old at Kiel auditorium in St. Louis, Mo. Late '68 or early '69 (not sure) but Randy Holden was playing with them instead of Leigh. They'd had all their equipment stolen before this show ans so had to use a coupla' Fender stacks each instead of there Monster Marshalls!! DP was pissed and at one point threw down his bass then walked off stage. Paul was sobbing behind the PA speakers right the frick where I was sitting. Incredible...
