Jessica, I think your nose is cold. Stand by, will I need you any more? So tight and heavy.

I applaud you. We had a guy in Ft.Wayne who would play his lists - he was canned after 3 months. We shut the station down after 6 months.

There's a good chance that we would have had a conversation about some blunt facts. Great post. Loved Captain Beyond - still have the 3D album cover. It's a classic.

Wow ! What an awesome experience for you ! Saw Bloodrock with GFR in Memphis in '70 or '71. That entire concert rocked it out of the park - I remember we were sitting in the rafters and the entire place was on their feet and moving and it is a wonder the building didn't collapse from the vibration and energy of it all ... 'member it to this very day.

Bloodrock had a magic touch. Better than Grand Funk.

I had the pleasure of filling in as drummer for Bloodrock back in 1976. RIP my friend Stevie Hill. We did a few dates with GFR at a time when Terry Knight was still promoting both bands. I went on to play for Rattlesnake among other bands and still live in Austin, Texas and play occasionally. Blloodrock was SO underated only because of Terry's failure to use the new FM rock stations to promo them. I talked to Ed Grundy the other day about a REAL reunion tour that I'd be interested.

I saw them in 71, 72? opening for Grand Funk. They were outstanding even back in the day of horrible PA Systems. One of them had very long blond hair and would shake his head, back turned to the audience. (Cheesy) But remember in 71 hair this long was an abosolutely amazing thing for us to see on a man! Never the less, we felt they smoked Grand Funk although GFR was good in thei own right. No comparison between a full 5 piece and a 3 piece band.

LoL @ Nothing but Memories flooding back of growing up in South Fort Worth and AM radio of the late 60s and early 70s! Then thankfully along came the ZEW! BloodRock ROCKED it! ;)

Nice to read all positive comments re; BLOODROCK, Truly an excellent band, I remember after BLOODROCK 3, BLOODROCK Passage, what a contrast and also a great album incorporating a little Tull in their sound with some flute pieces.

This song was written for Bloodrock by Johnny Nitzinger, who wrote many songs for Bloodrock.

This was a great era for music! Being 15 years old this was Rockin music, the keyboards are so cool.... they were kind of obscure, but there was alot of these types of bands as well, another is Bloodwin Pigs etc.....n
