Around my beginnings of being a Christian I never was into metal but I walked into a Christian store and saw Demon Hunter's first album and the logo was cool looking and so I purchased it and I was like hey I can get into this. Ever since then I bought every single Demon Hunter CD except for 45 days which is just a live show of the songs I already have but still I plan on getting that too because they sounded great in that live show.

To be completely fair, there are ZERO groups left that completely follow the practices of the original christians (which by the way were not called christians until much much later - they were 'followers of The Way'). Ultimately to be a 'christian' is to be like Christ - which is not possible for our sinful natures. A far better term would be 'those in pursuit of Christianity' as our we strive to be like christ, even though it is not a fully attainable goal in this life.

its not the same, catholics have a different belief system, and their practices are totally different. and "emperor constantine" not only adopted it, he corrupted it, they sold pieces of the cross, enough to fill 7 tankers. i dont think the cross was 7 tankers big, also paying for salvation sounds like corruption to. then martin luther king took a stand with the whole affirmation. there is more than meets the eye that goes on with the roman catholic church. but roman catholics are not christians

i understand what you're trying to say... religion and denominations are unnecessary and is not part of God's plan. Only through a relationship with Jesus can you be with Him. i am saying however, that catholics are not the only denominations who go through "religions motions" so do baptists, anglican, etc. that being said though, if you have accepted jesus as Lord, that makes you christian. so even if these guys were "catholic", they would still be christian. it's just another denomination

I will say that Catholics can be Christians, but it's not necessarily the case. A Catholic can go through a bunch of religious motions, but religion in itself is dead and offers no salvation. To be a Christian, one must accept Jesus as their savior.

dude, please stop sounding so ignorant. catholics are part of one of many christian denominations (like baptists, jehovah's witnesses etc.). they are all different. if you say they aren't then you obviously dont know what a 'christian' is. you;re the one that needs to do his research.
