being a Johnny Cash fan, realizing that Johnny did not write this song, I really like Blondie's version of this song. Then again, I have always really liked "Blondie". :)

ring of fire isn't actually a johnny cash song. It was written by June Carter (who later married J.C.) while she was still married to another man. It was subsequently interpreted by j.c.

1980 - The movie "Roadie," starring Meat Loaf, debuted. Meat Loaf doesn't sing in it, but Blondie does!#dapimusic #mymusichangout #countryrock #meatloaf #debbieharry #roadie #debut #onthisday #onthisdate

People should use common sense, like the Guy saying Johnny Cash would be turning in his grave. Look at Debbie and the other band members. This was done in the late 70s. Quite obviously so!

Johnny Cash was infinitely cool and would have loved this. Him covering NIN's is testimony to that.

I believe this came from the movie "Roadie" I had the LP of this back in the day. If memory serves me right, I think it was a 2 album set in a blue album cover with the word "Roadie" printed on it in yellow. It also had songs from Alice Cooper "Road Rats" & from Cheap Trick "Everything works if you let it" (just to name a few) Damn. Now I feel old. LOL
