it's more like E for Empty, as in a car fuel tank. It's a song about not having a car!

I do know her. I first met her in 1977.

I'm completely serious. That's why she can sing in the baritone range as a woman. Also undoubtedly why her mother died in childbirth.

I cant even begin to imagine what it must be like to have a girl as beautiful as Debbie Harry

Don't despair. It is an act. She is not like that in real life. She's a smart business woman, and (okay) a bit of a coke head. Also, her physical looks are the damnedest optical illusion that I've ever seen. She is like a big Polish farm girl, but her head is SO enormous that in photographs it makes the rest of her body seem to be small. In high school she used to be called "Moon", because her head was like the size of the Moon. I'm serious.

This was filmed in late 1977 and it aired in January 19, 1978. New songsfrom this show keep emerging. The set list started with X-Offender, then Detroit 442, then Shark in Jet's Clothing, then In the Sun. On the usual tapes of this show it jumps from X-offender to Little Girl Lies.

@beamerZ The credits at the end of "Youth Nabbed As Sniper" from the same show say, that it was produced in 1978. AFAIK it was broadcasted first in January 1978.

Debbie used to have a 1967 Camero, a guy called Vinnie pushed it of the end of a cliff, after this Debbie felt empty....this is what this song is about. I fancy Debbie so much, words cant describe.
