Saw this great band with Van Morrison @ Boston Tea Party 1970. Later, the leader Mick Abrahams was not alloowed in U.S.A. for pot reasons.

I saw them more times than I care to remember. Some great nights at The Marquee and a couple of blistering gigs at the Gin Mill in Godalming! Abrahams had a nice fat tone and an interesting style. The 'original' Tull were another great Marquee band. He was brilliant with them too!

You never know what you're going to get when you click on a live video, but this is GREAT!Why are the lyrics so hard to find? There's a comment with the 1st verse, but I can't find it in full on the net.

Founded by a guitarist who was kicked out of a band by a singer named anderson who was eventually replaced by a guitarist who was kicked out of a different band by a different singer named anderson.

British blues rock at its best. Mick Abrahams quit or was fired from JT, so Ian Anderson and crew went off to do their thing (increasingly grandiose and pretentious) and Abrahams formed this outfit and kept the flame of the blues lit.

This is a seriously tight jam. The band probably played the song numerous times before this recording, but holy shit they're tight as fu*k. Very few acts today can play this tight live. And a thanks to the guy who posted the lyrics to the opening chorus. Google only lists lyrics for the Dickies cover and it's wrong.

I ALWAYS THOUGHT THIS SONG , AS WELL AS ALICE COOPER'S "NOBODY LIKES", ME WERE THE BEGINNINGS OF KLEZMER - ROCK.

Just saw your posting...I only knew of Blodwyn Pig (was also an early Jethro Tull fan) through (W)MMR. I forget who it was that played the daylights out of "See My Way" from 70-72...
