A mighty bunch of musicians from England, and I was very fortunate to see them live in a very small club in Phoenix, Arizona. I had recently returned from Vietnam,1967. My sister said we should go out and catch this show...I'm not exactly sure when we saw this show...67,or 68, very fuzzy period in my history. But, I do know I saw this powerful group...Thanks UK for so many great musicians...BP blow that clubs doors off...in a good way! Right?

Yeah love the joint smoking pig. Hey this quitat player singer didn't copy anybody. He's just pure blues/jazz all the way. They don't make them like this anymore.

yo deanslist..."stand up" cannot begin to touch "this was" nor "ahead rings out" for ass-kicking rock and roll....I liked "stand up" when it came out...but these other two have remained classic rock..."stand up" was classic aol pop...good but pop

First time I've heard this song in over 40 years. I bought this album at the same time I bought Tull's second album, STAND UP and I left it behind when I moved from New York to New Orleans. Still have STAND UP though. This album is good but STAND UP was one of Tull's two best. THICK AS A BRICK was the other.

My way cool auntie brought this to me from England with a hot pink background on the cover instead of red, making it even more astounding as a classic of album art. Loved those swingin' horns in the rockin' mix. Too bad it was stolen. Replaced it with the N.A. release, but it even had different songs than the U.K. version.

I turn 60 next year. First heard this when I was 18 and it still packs a punch and rocks the way I remember. Timeless gutsy rock and roll. Used to have the album and may have to revisit the record store. Oh I forgot they dont have vinyl anymore. Thats what happens when you get older, you forget things lol. Not this stuff tho. Savoy Brown in the same boat :)

@mikey1829 --- Damn straight........so classic that the radio station K-SHE here in St. Louis, a long time ago, started to use this pig as "Sweetmeat", their logo or what-have-you..........

Reminds me of the later Wizzard stuff, like from Main Street.
