All instruments in a band are the most important, there is never one over arching instrument. Nd drummers are always at the back of the stage, just a tradition that everyone's kinda adopted over time I guess. If they were more in the foreground they'd definitely get filmed way more.

@PunkRockCovers This is quite a late reply, but in a three-piece band every instrument counts just as much as another, which is alot. I know what you're saying for bands with more instruments, though. I hate it too.
