I don't think some of you understand... Scott was kicked because he missed gigs and recording dates, Travis had to fill in for him multiple times, so Travis is definitely capable of playing the music from the earlier days of blink. I will admit, when Travis showed up, they went more "poppy," but what you're failing to realize is, Scott didn't want to go "poppy" so he held Tom back from making the band go the way Tom wanted it to, Mark couldn't have given a fuck, so then, they added Travis, and Tom knew that at that point he could do whatever with the band he wanted, which resulted in Enema being more pop sounding, and then came TOYPAJ, and then Untitled album which by blink's standards at the time was a disaster, then, Tom quit the band like a little bitch because Mark and Travis didn't want to do the stuff that they did AVA. So, Tom made AVA, and then, after realizing AVA may not go as far as he had hoped, he rejoined blink to get more money, then, after all of this is supposedly over with, Tom has his manger say he's done with blink (at this time, AVA released a new album which topped charts everywhere) which then resulted in "blinkagedon" and all hell broke loose. Eventually, Tom then put videos of "Songs Without a Home" on his Facebook claiming to have an album out in a couple of weeks, according to reports, Tom had already had a deal to make an album right after the blink break up, but never went through with it, and in turn made AVA. Of course Mark and Travis still wanting to make music released an album titled "When Your Heart Stops Beating" with a new band titled "+44" Travis clearly showed he had little to do with how things went. Now back to Tom's solo career. After promising an album, he had shirts and other accessories on his official website already. and put links up everywhere for people to click on, and no album was released, and has yet to be released. There are tracks on YouTube so far that aren't all that impressive, and you can tell on one of the songs that it was supposed to be Mark's song. To make a long story short... Tom was the reason blink became more poppy.
