+da Kidd D-Nice like houseshoes said, he filtered the sample. Far as I can hear, dilla filter to get the bass. He chopped up the bass parts. I hear the shakers from the original record and they sound slowed down for the common record. I also hear the voice "aah" and I think its from the sample. After that, I don't know what else he did. I didn't hear the guitar part that houseshoes was saying.10 years ago

perfection, once again.. And so true what Shoes is saying at the end. Kanye once compared Dilla to Stanley Kubrick and said he and others producers are like Steven Spielberg that are trying to do what he did.
