I seem to remember that on the day a lot of people didn't quite know what to make of this performance. Very different from what the band members were doing in their previous groups Cream, Traffic and Family. Perhaps better appreciated later once people had gotten over their expectations and could listen to the music for what it was.

They kinda screwed it up, by playing it too slow and lazily... Where's Clapton's guitar, btw? Not one of his best performances, indeed. Perhaps he didn't find a Tele too comfy for him... Finally steve's voice here is out of tune and just doesn't match the song.
