one seems mad dear sir. Yes periphery is considered by people a groove metal band, because its the same fucking thing as "ZAMAGADQUOTE Progressive ZAMAGADQUOTE" metal. Ive been listening to bulb since his early day demos on soundclick, exactly how i found out bleeding skies. Song called New Groove mean something? Also you failed to make a point toward the end and just started ranting about labeling sub genres to bands Keep being mad its kul how about listen to the music and enjoy it. Get out.

Periphery is absolutely, positively not a groove metal band. What, have you only listened to Icarus Lives? More than 90% of their material is easily not groove-oriented, it's just that the "groovy" riffs are the most memorable to the general public's ear. I'd say if anything they're a straight up modern-day, progressive metal act. And when I say "progressive," it still doesn't nearly do them any justice.
