Gord's schtick is so obvious, like it is in most awful country songs today: capitalize on generic emotions, and run it into the ground. Waylon and Willie weep.

Honestly, I was watching a favorite artist/singer-songwriter,Lisa Brokop.I love her singing and writing,oh yeah, and she's REALLY easy on the eyes too.I glanced down the list beneath her video's and saw this title,"Blame It On That Red Dress" ?Being an appreciative songwriter myself,I like a title that draws you in.And that's what it did.i never heard of Gord Bamford and don't know his work. I listened and liked the song the first listen.Good production and vocals, not a bad video either. The lead female was SO playful AND seXy. Oh yeah this Gord fellow might have a career somewhere? I'll listen to some others on your channel, Thank You for sharing. Best of luck in 2014 y'all !

I've been a Country DJ for over 20 years now, and as much as it pains me to say it.... Gord Bamford is proof that the best real country music being release today is coming out of Canada. Nashville has no one like this guy. This is real country and I miss it in the USA. Thank you Gord ! Thank you for packing my dance floor for me every time I play your music.

Gord Bamford is one of the best Country Artists right now. Thankfully there is someone releasing real country in an age where real country is quickly going extinct. Thanks Gord !

This has a touch of early Mark Chesnutt. At least I could hear Mark Chesnutt fitting this song. I hope this kind of music will take over all of Canadian Country music because it will for sure make it's way back here to the US.

It would seem like in Canada like in the USA the only country that will get recognition in the way of top ten hits and the such is the music that is not really country but passes off as such. I don't mind some pop flavored country or even hard country rock but country should at least sound like country. At least close to what we came to know in the late 80's and through the 90's to early 2000's. Evolved but still country music. Now there is no sign of country with most top stars of "country."
