It's very cheerful, there's a nice atmosphere, it all looks very stylish, but Candice Night just misses that extra little "je ne sais quoi" to be excellent, not just very good. It's all a bit too polished and gentle, I don't know. It's not Jane Relf, it's not Kate Bush, it's not Maddy Prior, Christine Perfect you know, that category of female singers that has just that something extra. Blackmore's Night certainly is very entertaining, but the fact the frontlady misses that extra something becomes very clear after a few songs. The coffee simply quickly gets lukewarm...
