Attention people of 1979 - how did you not make this a hit? Were you too busy listening to disco?

Flashback Friday is my band from 1979, Blackjack. Check out the talented Michael Bolton and me on a NYC rooftop in a video for "Without Your Love." Pretty wild indeed!

Steve York was brought here today by the most awesome of DVD video games "RIFF". Check it out sometime. Interesting trivia & more! Bolton in rock? Yeah, it brought me here so it HAS to be awesome!

What did Michael Bolton do before he sang all those ballads in the 1980's? He was in a hard rock band with Bruce Kulick (KISS) of course! #MichaelBolton #rock #BruceKulick #Blackjack

The thing that freaks me out is that he was considered as a possible replacement for Ozzy by Black Sabbath. They went for Dio instead.

LOL, Derek Smalls of Spinal Tap on bass...

I think it would have been better for him to stick with this style of music instead of the soft rock he ended up doing later. I look at what he did as a sell-out move. What a waste.

Too bad Michael Bolton forgot how to Rock n' Roll. His solo stuff after Blackjack was boring music compared to this Fantastic music he did with Blackjack. He traded being a great front man in a great ROCK band so he could be a Crooner! Move over Being.

Actually a pretty good song! It should be! With Bolton and Kulick doing their thing. Who knew?!?!

I thought he was a natural blonde, I'm EXTREMELY disappointed to know that he's just a bottle blonde.

I used to hear Michael at the "Arcadia Ballroom" in New Haven, CT, when I was 18 (legal drinking age). Now 55. No even listened to him then! Was just in the background....pounding on the piano.....singing..... "Michael BolOtin"
