I saw them in 81 when Def Leppard opened for them in San Diego. I went to see Leppard but walked out a Blackfoot fan. Then about a year later they opened for Ted Nugent and they blew Nugent off the stage. Glad to see Ricky back with Sknyrd.

Man, the energy on that stage!! Even though it's not a " quality " recording and I can barely make out what he's saying, I had to listen several times to make sure, lol. Wish I had seen them in concert back then...

Axe...you are correct Jakson was the man...1st saw them before they made it big at a club in Charlotte, NC...the cellar..they rocked. 73 or 74 ..wild night...enjoyed meeting them..couple of years later they showed up in Salem VA with a album No Reservation...dug it then also..down the road..I get out of the Army get in the bar/ promo biz crossed path's with Jakson again and remained a friend until he went to RnR Heaven..he had the beat..and he had a heart..I agree he was the heart of Blackfoot

I first saw them as support act for the Scorpions. I'd never even heard of them at the time. Within the first 20 seconds of this song I was on my feet pledging alliegiance to the stars and bars

This was on the 82 tour, but not London. I was at the London show and they blew me away. I saw Blackfoot six times in all (including the Scorps tour) but London 82 they were different class. This band were on fire. Ive seen shitloads of bands and this show will always be in my top 3 of all time.

This is the video to go with the double live single they released after the tour. Didn't see this gig but saw them in Glasgow the same tour as well as 79 as Scorpions support band. Also 81 at Monsters of Rock. Still got my autographed copy of Marauder tucked away in the attic. Magical stuff.
