I love trivium the thing is they don't play music like trivium they play like pop rock with a little screaming and a few harmonies and call it metal their first album was way closer to trivium then their news stuff

to be honest I love their first album more than their 2nd album and EP but i've heard that the vocalist(Gabe)can't sing live with the voice he use here and their first album.I guess that's one of the reason why they changed.the other reason (I believe) is they also like bands like Trivium as they're following them on twitter so they want to try those kind of music.
