Another from the famous show in Berlin on 6/26/1970. Black Sabbath gives their first known live performance of "Paranoid"...with different lyrics! Enjoy!

Lyrics:

Yeah

Finished with my woman 'cause she

couldn't help me with my mind

People say I'm insane cause

I'm down frowning all the time

Mind just didn't go good for you

because my mind's all full of hate

Say my mind goes good somewhere

with an angel god I promise you.

Somebody help me occupy my brain.

Oh yeah

Yeah

People say my mind's all full of

things I don't know what I do.

Ev'ry thing is passing through me

and my mind's all that I know.

I need someone with my word

and find me one good alibi.

Ev'ry thing keeps going wrong

because my mind's all full of hate

Ev'ry fate is going bad

because my fate is no where near

I want you to see me smile

and as I know I'm a wild thing.

I like how in the pic, Ozzy is the only one that doesn't have a mustache.

They'd just written and recorded Paranoid the week before..it sounds like Ozzy forgot the lyrics to a brand new song and just started improvising on the spot

Is this supposed to be off the "live at plumpton racecourse" bootleg? Haven't heard it in a while but it isn't quite how i remember it.

I never heard this version before. I've heard the demo versions of black sabbath and war pigs before, but not this version of paranoid. Interesting.

@cornholio51 I'm saying that person's ears don't work. I'm not sure what's so negative about it.

@MrJo1340 it's a bootleg, so it's bad quality.

@Kain8411 You're 100% right. It's not Ozzy, however it's still a decent cover.

@WhatFuckingUsernameI Actually most live albums have tons of studio enhancement done to them. I would also like to make clear that there's a lot of difference to the type of work done in the studio back in the 70s, as to what he does now, particularly with his voice.

@blacksabfan: Come on. I see where you're comming from, but unfortunately we have to deal with the fact that Ozzy isn't getting any younger and at least he knows what he's doing in the studio. All their albums were studio enhanced (except the live ones and some of those could have used some).

if you want alt lyrics go get the Paranoid Deluxe edition CD

@drag117 Or you can just ignore it, so the negative backlash doesn't inspire a bunch of stupid 11-16 year old girls to "like" the video and leave their stupid as comments. Live and let live. People seem to forget this idea. Let the good and bad sort itself out.

@Kain8411 Well it is Ozzy. So I guess that makes your ears crap.
